The bull shark story is the bit you'll be telling on the drive home. Major flooding in the 90s connected the course lagoons to the Logan River, a few bull sharks got trapped, and legend has it they've been cruising the water hazards ever since. Fair warning - it adds a fair bit of motivation to keep the ball dry.
