Monash Country Club (NSW)

Monash is situated high on the hills of the Northern beaches with expansive views over the Pacific Ocean. The course is described as having the purest poa-annua greens and best kikuyu fairways in the country. Although not overly long in length, it is heavily tree lined and a great test for all levels of handicap.

Opening in 1950 the acclaimed par 72 layout sits high in the hills of Ingleside on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney with stunning

views of the Pacific Ocean from the clubhouse and course itself.

The sense of serenity as you drive down the tree lined driveway is one all golfers should experience. Even though the course is challenging,

its length still allows golfers of all abilities to enjoy themselves, which is a true testament to its design.

The Australian PGA Championships were held here in 1964 & 1984, won by Col Johnston and Greg Norman respectively.

The membership prides itself on having arguably the best kikuyu fairways in Australia and showing off pure green surfaces to test the

stroke of every player. In 2016 the Club embarked on a bunker renovation program using the ‘matrix’ system that has proved so successful

in producing surfaces with less washouts and in 2017 the Club engaged course architect James Wilcher to rebuild the 18th green for a

spectacular finish to your round.
