General Questions
When do my benefits get added to my account?
Instantly.
We provide members with all of their membership benefits upfront on day one. You then have the full 12-months to use benefits at your discretion.
How long is my membership for?
All of our memberships are for a 12-month period, including our monthly options.
How many rounds can I play per year?
You can redeem one free round, per each partner, per membership year in your home state up to the total of free rounds included in your membership e.g. The Golfer = 12 Free Rounds.
After your first visit to a partner course, you will be able to make use of the discounted Future Golf members pricing found on our partners page.
Can I transfer my existing handicap? How long does it take?
Yes, we can transfer your handicap to Future Golf. You will be prompted to provide your GolfLink number during the signup process, we will transfer your handicap history and issue you with a new GolfLink number within 48 hours.
Can I get a handicap with Future Golf? What do I need to do?
Yes, members can be issued with an official Golf Australia Handicap.
To receive a handicap, you will need to submit three (3) scorecards signed by someone with an existing GolfLink number.
I’m not sure which membership to get, can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can upgrade your membership at any time via the member portal. You will be charged for your upgrade pro-rata.
What happens after I join as a Future Golf member?
You get instant access to our member portal where you can claim your membership benefits including free rounds, access to our members clubhouse, event bookings and so much more.
What days and times can I play the free rounds?
Future Golf has access to a range of tee times across our partner courses to suit everyone’s needs – visit partner page for more info.
Can I bring a guest with me?
Most partner courses (excluding prestige partners) allow for Future Golf members to bring guests to their club. It’s always best to check with the proshop at the time of booking to save any disappointment.
What can I do with my handicap?
With your Golf Australia Handicap, you will be able to enter public competitions, play special events, participate for prizes at Future Golf events and submit social rounds to track your game improvement.
What’s the difference between Free Rounds & Unlimited Social Rounds?
Depending on your membership level, each member receives an allocated amount of Free Rounds which cover the green fees for one player at a partner course.
Unlimited Social Rounds refer to submitting conforming social scorecards through our member portal that go towards your official handicap.
This is a feature not offered by most clubs in Australia.
